Ensemble 32 is a distinctive musical group known for its eclectic mix of genres, ranging from South American melodies and French gypsy tunes to their unique take on Irish rock and folk music. The sound is primarily instrumental, featuring a combination of three classical flutes, piano, guitar, and drums, occasionally infused with classical pieces and traditional Irish tunes, which sometimes include vocal performance. Their diverse repertoire and unique instrumentation allow Ensemble 32 to create a rich musical experience that bridges various cultures and traditions, appealing to a wide range of audiences.

The members are Rhona Trench, Edel Rowley, Carole Coleman (flautists), Alla Crosbie, (piano and vocals), Mat Warren (guitar including electric) and Tomás Winston (drums and vocals)

Inspiration for the group include music by Yann Tiersen, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, music from the 1980s (AHA, Cindy Lauper, Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury) Leonard Cohen, Jacque Brel, and The Cranberries.
