Raised in the hills of West Ireland. Surrounded by the tranquil dark green landscapes of county Mayo Keith grew a love for songs and music as a whole. Remembering his first exposures to music, spending much time trying to learn instruments associating memories of the countryside to the songs and albums he listened to.

Having previously supported acts like   Hudson Taylor,  Hermitage Green,   Paddy Casey, Declan O’Rourke, Mark Geary, I Draw Slow Keith and his band of cello and drums are preparing to open for The Hothouse Flowers in Castlebar’s TF Royal’s Ruby Rooms on the 8th April 2023.

Performing songs that contain different styles of acoustic guitar fingerpicking, played percussively laying the foundation for the the lyrics to tell stories of love, death and life. Often accompanied by the roaring waves of cellist  Maeve Kelly  and the tasteful ticking drums and percussion of Shane Smith.

The live set and songs could described as alternative folk with influence from both classic and contemporary songwriters and guitar players.  A sound that offers a rich blend of acoustic instruments  with elements of Irish melody and storytelling, blues and folk.

Having previously had tracks aired repeatedly on Today FM and Beat 102-103 in 2017, Keith has taken a step back from his college pop sound and engulfed in a love for all things acoustic and organic! Find the updated list of appearances for 2023 on the HOME page.
