Irish-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and sound engineer Sara Miller builds worlds out of emotion and rhythm, forging a reputation for weaving emotional resonance with dance floor euphoria.

Drawing from the timeless pulse of ’90s progressive and deep house, she brings warmth and texture to her sets. Astral melodies, rubbery basslines and soaring breaks form her palette, shaping fluid journeys that blur the line between reflection and abandon.

Based in Berlin, Sara Miller has become a trusted presence on Europe’s most iconic floors, from Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, and Tresor to Phonox, Badaboum, Macadam and Nitsa. Her natural ease behind the decks mirrors her skill in the studio, where she translates club energy into finely detailed, melodic productions.

Her ongoing relationship with Permanent Vacation began with Orange Sea (2021) and has since grown with her acclaimed Lunar Theory EP (2023), her vinyl debut Cervo on Cracki Records (2024), and remixes for Permanent Vacation and Live at Robert Johnson. Her latest EP on Permanent Vacation, Oceanic Dream (2025), distills her sound into three cinematic house tracks that move between dreamlike introspection and open-hearted euphoria.

DJ Mag’s review of Oceanic Dream described Miller as “one of the rare alchemists who can push a tune to its emotional breaking point while also keeping it on the right side of cheesy,” praising its “swung drum programming and throwback progressive bassline” that give it “serious bite.” For her first EP, Resident Advisor described Lunar Theory as “filled with melodies as complex as honeycomb,” noting its low-end heft and idiosyncratic touch – “a reminder that just because you’re going big doesn’t mean you can’t stay weird.”

In 2024, she was selected for the Detroit–Berlin Residency, spending two transformative months at Submerge, headquarters of Underground Resistance. Collaborating with Detroit artist Shawescape Renegade on a hardware live show, she was immersed in the city’s culture of resilience, innovation and community, an experience that continues to shape her creative outlook and reaffirm her belief in music as a shared, sustaining force.
