Be a Green Festival Goer
The five most important things you can do to be a green festival goer:
1. Take your tent home with you!
Tents cannot be recycled and generally cannot be collected for re-use. In fact, please take everything home with you. We want to spend our budget on line-up and fun not waste.
2. Use the correct bins to improve recycling
We separate rubbish using different bins so that materials can be recycled. Mixed waste often cannot be recycled. Please keep food waste separate from recycling.
3. Bring water bottles and reusable cups
Help reduce single-use plastic by bringing reusables. We provide free water refill stations, and reusable cups at our bars.
4. Think about how you travel
Try to avoid travelling alone in a car – consider festival coaches and public transport options or try a car share.
5. Reduce other plastics
