Sunrose

Sunrose express the rawest, innermost feelings through song. Sharp and aching lyrical content is delivered through rich vocals, intricate harmony and innovative electronic soundscapes, creating something wholly singular and new. Set to release later this year, Sunrose’s first album  “The Language of the Sun” promises to be one of the most exciting Irish debuts of 2026.

Fronted by Leah Davidson’s plaintive lyrics and voice, with the support of multi-instrumentalist/producer Thomas Davidson and award-winning pianist Nils Kavanagh, the band moves as a single unit. Growing up in Co. Sligo, Ireland, Sunrose have played music with each other since childhood. This closeness is felt in the music, creating a space for both the band members and listeners to immerse themselves with familial ease and security.

Influenced by jazz, soul, folk, electronic and popular music, while scarcely fitting into any one of these genres, this music eludes classification and cuts deep to the heart.
